Health Policy

Kindly review the Sick Child/Health Policy below and strictly adhere to the outlined guidelines. If your child is unwell, please ensure they stay at home.To maintain the well-being of all our children, the following symptoms will prevent a child from attending:

 

Temperature exceeding 100o.

 

Unexplained rash or sores (children may return to school with a written notice from a doctor).

 

Discharge from the eyes, ears, or nose (children may return to school with a written notice from a doctor).

 

Vomiting or diarrhea.

 

Productive cough or dry cough lasting over one week without medical attention.

 

Any illness or injury that inhibits a child's participation in regular activities.

Two or more symptoms related to COVID-19 (including muscle aches, sore throat, fatigue, headache, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, fever/chills, loss of taste/smell, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting).

Occasionally, our children may come into contact with contagious illnesses. In such cases, parents are promptly notified via Health Notices. These notices detail school policies and personal preventive measures for specific illnesses. They will be displayed in the office, outside classrooms, and shared through Procare Connect. Please be aware that tuition will not be adjusted or refunded for absences or closures due to illness.

Please note that the choice to send your child to school is a personal decision that should be made by each family considering the child's current health, the risk of infection, and the presence of vulnerable individuals in their household. Attendance at our program is voluntary. While we will take necessary precautions, by sending your child to school, you acknowledge the associated risks and agree to release Amazing Arts, its representatives, and community members from liability.
